The film starts when Tiger (Yuen Shen Yi) and his wife are trapped in a tea house by a group of thugs. Tiger is already an insane killer so when his wife is murdered this just makes him even worse on his way for revenge,(one of the killers had a chain that biao later has).
Tiger gets together with his old friend played by “phillip Kao” and its only really then Tiger becomes really obsessed with killing Mousey (Yuen Biao). Mousey then meets Foon (leung kar yan) who is a student of the famous Wong Fei Hung (Kwan Tak Hing), who tries to help him and get him to be master wong’s student.
There is a great fight between Foon and Tiger that takes place in a opera house where nothing is quiet like its seems for Foon. But will Foon be able to stop the brazy killer before he gets to Mousey?
Yuen Biao throughout the film plays a character who is scared to fight, so there isn’t many fights with him involved until the very end fight. But this doesn’t take anything away from the movie which is a great watch. He also shows us how to wash and hang out the clothes in a way youve never seen before. Also be sure to check out the lion dance sequence which shows great choreography.
Kwan Tak Hing is excellent as usual as wong fei hung, i also bet nobody could stare into his eyes for more than a few seconds (scarey eyes when he stares).
Another classic from yuen woo ping who seems to have so many in his catalogue of movies and another golden harvest hit.
