BAFTA nominated Indian Actress Frieda Pinto is in the Top 10 of this year’s Sexiest Women in the World. Freida who became internationally known for playing the role of “Latika” in the multi-awarded movie “Slumdog Millionaire” was born in Mumbai and a fashion and commercial model before starring in the said film. She was also an Anchor of the international travel show “Full Circle” being shown on Zee International Asia Pacific from 2006 to 2008. She then auditioned for Director Danny Boyle and got the role that changed her life.

After the success of her film debut, offers flowed-in, on May 2009 she became the new face of L’Oreal after some rumors that she was offered a six figure deal from rival cosmetic company Estee Lauder.

She had just finished filming “Miral” with Willem Dafoe, the film chronicles Hind Husseini’s effort to establish an orphanage in Jerusalem after the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel. The film is set to be released on 2010. Currently, Pinto is filming the untitled movie with Director Woody Allen set in London and co-starring Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts.

She is said to be dating “Slumdog Millionaire” co-star Dev Patel.
