After making an appearance in Pandora’s Box’, Yuen Biao is back and will be joining the cast of ‘Young Ip Man’. Biao will be playing Yip Man’s senior Ng Chung Suk, who became responsible for training Yip Man when their master Chan Wah Shun passed away.
‘Young Ip Man‘ traces the life of the Wing Chun master between the ages of 11 to 28, Fans of Yuen Biao will also be pleased to hear that he is currently in talks to star in the upcoming ‘Legend of Shaolin Kungfu 3‘ television series. They reckon that it might be turned into a cameo as biao will be very busy with this upcoming project. Fan Siu-wong is also cast in the project and will start work on the new actioner as soon as his scenes in Wilson Yip’s Ip Man 2 starring Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung are all completed.
Ng See Yuen is forbidding Wong Kar Wai, who’s facing tremendous pressure, from altering the script on the set, “The script must be finalised first, can’t let him keep changing the script as he shoots the film.”
I think its a great idea to bring Biao in as past films will tell us he is excellent at wing chun and i dont think there’s anyone out their who could play this part better, I cant wait to see this.
