Above is one of the first onset pictures from the upcoming sequel to the 2008 blockbuster IP MAN
Here we have a shot of Ip Man (Donnie Yen) squaring off against Sammo Hung (Grandmaster of Hung).
The sequel to the multi award winning Donnie Yen biopic based on the life of Grandmaster Ip Man, picks up right where the first movie left off (Ip Man escaping from the Japanese). This time the start of the movie will focus on Ip Mans battle with another Kung Fu Grandmaster(Sammo Hung).
It seems Sammo and Donnie are starting to make quiet the partnership as Sammo will also be appearing in the 14 Blades as well as previously facing off against Donnie Yen in SPL (also directed by Wilson Yip)
Most of the original cast (those who survived!) also return for the sequel.
Fan Siu-Wong also returns but this time he is set to play Ip Man’s friend after truly getting his arse kicked in the first movie (you know what they say .. ‘If you cant beat em, Join em!’)
