Yep I'm with you on that. the first half of Casshern I thought was excellent but then it went downhill from there. Whilst with Goemon there was no real stand out part of the movie apart from the 30mins from the end

I agree. I actually really liked Casshern (even with its flaws) but for some reason, even with all the great visuals I couldn't connect to Goemon emotionally. Just as predicted

Could have been better. but very nice to look at – great on blu ray (excellent sound)
