Sammo Hung stars in this 1991 modern day action movie. Not as well known as some of his other work, but this is still an enjoyable movie.

PLOT
After Sergeant Lau has been murdered, his partner Pitt vows to get the killer. By a series of investigations, Pitt finds a witness Fatty, who's persuaded to testify against the killer, Tiger. But Tiger is bailed by Kim, a lawyer. Then Tiger firebombs Fatty's house, making Fatty move into Pitt's home and gain a friendship with Angel, Pitt's sister who is a reporter. Tiger strikes back again and catches Pitt and Fatty. May, who's beguiled to Hong Kong and forced to be a prostitute by Kim, comes to rescue the two men. With the help of May, they manage to get another set of obscene photos, from which they know Superintendent Kueng is involved. Meanwhile, Tiger attacks May and arrests Angel from Pitt's home, forcing Pitt to hand over the photos. Finally Pitt and Fatty manage to put Tiger and the lawyer, as well as Kueng behind bars.

OVERALL
I enjoyed this movie, within the first 5 minutes, we get to see a brutal scene which would move the movie along, with someone being killed and Sammo witnessing the event. After Sammo is heard watching, the movie starts picking up even more pace with Sammo being chased constantly by the murderers. The first major fight comes when Sammo is in his flat, unaware the guy who entered his flat was a cop and they have a fight. It also includes a few small stunts within the scene, with Sammo rolling over the side of the kitchen unit and falling back through a table.

Few minutes after, the movie introduces it's first car chasing scene, with the murderers going after Sammo and the cop once again. There is also a scene where the murderers petrol the flat, so to recap, so far there is a murder scene, a few fight scenes, a car chasing scene and now arson, happy days.

The final scene lasts around 8 minutes, which delivers explosions, Sammo fighting guys one handed and some gun fire.

A few other scenes to look out for when watching this movie:
*The scene where Sammo and the cop are tied to a car and are electrocuted.

*About 1 hour in and there is a good fight scene with Sammo taking on Billy Chow and a few of his thugs.

*The scene where Sammo as to smile to the killers as they hold 2 women at knife point in the flat, they make him smile and laugh, a scene that Sammo delivers very well in the acting department.

This may not be as known as some other of his modern day action films, but this is a good watch. The movie is fast paced, it doesn't have your typical Sammo action choreography, but it doesn't really need to have it in this kind of movie. Not a classic but still a good watch.
