Attack The Gas Station 2 (2010) Review

The film centers on a group of ethical thugs who are hired by a Gas Station owner to protect his store from a gang of bikers who have made a habit out of ransacking the place. The tables turn on the jerkish owner, when the people he hired to protect his store decide to rob the place themselves after they are denied the money that they worked to earn. Upon realizing that there is not much money in the store, the hired guns turned robbers decide to sell gas at half-price and keep the money. Things are complicated further when a group of escaped convicts, a gang of pimps, and a motorcycle gang get involved.

Jeon Woochi: The Taoist Wizard (2009) Review

Jeon Woochi: The Taoist Wizard tells the story of Jeon Woochi, an undisciplined wizard whose only concern is being known as a powerful sorcerer. Woochi’s master tries to tell him of the error of his ways, but Woochi has none of it. He spends his time looking for a magical mirror and bronze dagger and causing chaos with his magical skills with his dog/horse/human companion. Woochi’s Joseon era world collapses around him though when his master is murdered by a powerful goblin that is after a magical flute that will set all goblins free. Woochi is framed for the murder and three Taoists gods magically seal Woochi in a painting. Fast-forward to modern times as the goblins begin rampaging through Seoul. The gods have nowhere else to turn and release Woochi so he can stop the goblins from achieving their heinous goal.
