Twilight Gangsters AKA Revolver Gangsters Gang (2010) Review

If someone were to ask me to summarize the plot of Twilight Gangsters very quickly the resulting premise would go “a movie about three senior citizens robbing a bank”. This would immediately incite groans in anyone who was listening and rightfully so. On the surface this movie sounds like it could be another cheesy Martin Lawrence in a fat suit-esque venture, but the reality is that directorKang Ho Jin manages to take a potentially unbearable plot and makes a movie that is funny, exciting, and touching.

Sector 7 Gets Financial Backing

The financial powers behind the internationally popular Korean creature-feature The Host recently announced they would be providing the financial backing for another upcoming monster flick.

The movie is being financed by CJ Entertainment and is entitled Je Chil Gwanggu or Sector 7 (also translated as Mining Area 7) and will be directed by Youn Je-kyun, who is best known for directing the Korean blockbuster Haeundae, which was released internationally on DVD last month under the title Tidal Wave and was also financed by CJ Entertainment.
